A set of thirteen Chinese pith paintings of birds perched on branches, Daoguang period (1821-50), each finely painted and with blue silk ribbon borders, images 19.5 x 28.5cm, all later framed and mounted, with original empty brocade album cover inscribed and dated 1846

Condition:
11 of the paintings have occasional small spots and holes to the pith paper. One of the paintings of a bird of paradise is discoloured with some small holes and tears to the paper and the 13th image has some light spotting to the blue silk ribbon on the border otherwise in good condition.
