A large Tibetan silver and parcel gilt butter lamp, syou deng, 19th century repousse decorated with the eight Buddhist emblems to the flared bowl, above a knopped stem decorated with other auspicious objects, on a petal lobed spreading foot, 30cm high

Condition:
The bowl of the vessel is slightly misshapen with a few small dents in places, the lower knop of the stem looks as though it’s been pushed down slightly into the spreading foot. Some scratching to the interior otherwise in good condition. Gross weight 1204 grams.
