Condition:
Early Mauchline. A tiny verse beneath the cover image of an interior, “Poor tenant bodies, scant o’ cash, How the maun fhole, a factors snash”. Top good; front varnish has worn almost completely, the side and underside similarly worn; interior almost devoid of lead lining. We are of the strong opinion that this is penwork, not transfer printed.
