A Chinese export famille rose fencai chocolate pot and cover, Yongzheng period, of tapering cylindrical form with a right-angled handle, delicately painted in pale enamels with two pheasants perched on a tree peony branch, the domed cover, upper border, handle and spout gilded with vines or trailing flowers, 21.2cm high
