Condition:
An interesting pair of works, one with Edward III? standing in a niche dated AD1356 with Music and History roundels overhead, and a small panel at the base depicting a youth carving a sculpture of a knight, the other with a knight beneath the date AD1408 and roundels Architecture and Poetry, at the bottom inscribed After Figures by Francis Corbould MD with a panel at the base depicting The Elderly Artist painting the sculpture of the knight and dated AD1874 Francis John Corbould (1819-1884), member of the Royal College of Surgeons and father of the artist.
