Condition:
Overall of a rich aged blackish brown tone, the top lighter with a fair state of polish, the three main planks to the top all with old scratches, scuffs, dirt spots, flaws in the grain and ancient worm holes, the underframe with wear and worming (now treated) showing throughout but particularly to one side of the frieze, fair wear and tear to the stretchers.
