'Ednaville': A fine fully furnished Victorian dolls' house, circa 1880-1900, modelled as handsome double-fronted residence, with bay windows and steps up to a fine panelled front door, original finishes to the exterior and interior, the interior particularly finely detailed with panelled interior doors, a well-made staircase serving all three floors with original stair carpet, the rooms with unusual decorative details including ‘plasterwork' ceilings and panelling, one ground floor room with attractive overmantel mirror, the original furnishings including 'Yellow Cherry' pieces and numerous pictures, pieces of china and other contemporary miniatures, 165cm high.

This was the first house acquired by Joy McQuade and remained her favourite throughout her collecting life, it is discussed by Jean Latham, Dolls’ Houses, A Personal Choice (1969), p.134 and is illustrated on pages 72, 151, 155 and 185
