A large Rouen faience blue and white cistern, second quarter 18th century, 57.5cms high painted with foliate scrolls, pendants and flowers, twin dolphin and shell surmount, domed cover lacking finial, 57.5cm high, restorations

Condition:
The domed cover originally had a small finial now lacking and the immediate area has been restored. The upper twin Dolphin cresting has been broken off and crudely reglued. Some abrasion wear to the glaze around the back edges, rim and edge of foot, otherwise in good condition.
