A Japanese bronze koro, 19th century, cast in imitation of a takezaiku bamboo basket, applied with a pair of looped handles, on four bamboo shaped feet, 17.5cm wide

Condition:
Although the vessel is clearly made of bronze it appears to have an iron coating to the inside as there is rust residue. Occasional minor dents and nicks, parts of the ‘woven’ design has a little bit of damage underneath but does not show on the interior.
