Condition:
Several sections of the ormolu foliage, and the birds finial, loose; one concave porcelain plaque to one side detached but retained, the central long plaque missing; dial one winding arbour enamel chipped; cracks to enamel at 5, 7, 9 and 10. French movement not signed; strikes on the hour but out of synchronisation; movement has signs of life but, when pendulum is attached, motion cannot be sustained beyond two minutes. No key.
