Condition:
Oil on canvas re-lined many years ago, paint rather dirty with a fine but stable craquelure throughout. Stretch mark showing across the top along with some dark bitumous bubbling. An inverted L shaped tear retouched just below the branch in the middle, other further retouching elsewhere most notably across the lower right margin. Housed in a period frame which has been overpainted. Label verso for J.Kyrle Fletcher of Newport.
