A Chinese white jade snuff bottle, 19th/20th century, of flattened high shouldered form, on an oblong shaped foot, the stone with some pale inclusions,

Provenance- from the collection of the vendor’s late father who collected Chinese works of art in Hong Kong from 1950 to the 1970s. He lived in Shanghai from 1947-48 and became a successful businessman living and working in Hong Kong from 1949 until his death in 1994. 6.2 cm high including jadeite stopper

Condition:
The jadeite stopper has been glued to the rim of the snuff bottle so we are on able to examine the inner edge and interior. The stone with some natural inclusions and veining, otherwise in good condition.
