93cm long, 45.5cm wide, 33.5cm high, old repairs
£2,000-3,000
Condition:
There is some slight shrinkage to the inset panel of the top and a few age cracks to the timber. There are marks to the edge of the top where there once may have been some metal fixings. There are old European repairs to 2 of the legs – one has four screw fixings two which are covered by inserted pieces of wood. The second leg that has been repaired has a wood cover over a single screw and a visible glued crack to the inside of the leg. The timber is very dense and heavy and one of the legs has some old filler to the sapwood on the inside facing areas of the leg. Otherwise in reasonable condition.
