Spine good, corners and a few other small pieces renewed on boards; later e/ps; title laid-down with pieces missing at head and towards fore-edge (but all printing intact), rather soiled, table stained, engraved title within plate-mark little soiled-but reasonable, text with brown soiling etc; incl. stains in some places - pp. 59-69 markedly, pp. 197-204 some outer margins loss at one place (text and marginal notes not affected), pp. 341/42 and 347/48 marked brown soiling (but text readable); prelims.
