Oil on canvas wax relined some years ago, canvas now with some slight outward bulging and slipped a little in frame, paint looks dirty with some craquelure running throughout and signs of retouching particularly near the top left corner, signed Wright lower right where there is a little light scratching, housed in what looks to be the original gilt gesso frame which has numerous losses.
