A Japanese lacquered wood netsuke of a bird and a wooden netsuke of a rabbit, 18th/19th century,
the bird with seal mark to base and inset eyes, 4.4 cm, the rabbit unsigned 4.6 cm (latter damaged)

Condition:
The bird netsuke has some wear to the lacquer on the highpoints and a now worn splinter to chip to the edge of its left wing. The rabbit Netsuke has numerous losses where a mouse has nibbled at the Netsuke.
