Oil on canvas relined 20 years ago or more, canvas remains tight, paint slightly flattened and a little dirty with a little fine craquelure notably in the thicker paint of the sky, housed in a later gilt scroll frame which is in good order, comes with receipt from Walker Galleries Ltd dated September 90 for £6,000. Auctioneers chalk marks to the stretcher, with removers label for Pitt & Scott Ltd.
