Condition:
Overall of good rich reddish brown mahogany tone, the top slightly lighter particularly to the right side with a number of old dents, scuffs, stains and scratches commensurate with age, central doors have original lock, one brass escutcheon missing and no key present, looks like there was once at least one if not two more sliding trays that are now missing, some of the reeding around the left centre door has come away but the loose piece is reatined inside. The left dummy drawer has lost the brass backing to the top knob handle and the door is broken away at the top hinge, now requiring repair, there is a little warping also to the door front, internally three fixed shelves are fitted that look to be later alterations, the right hand drawer is also slightly warped but opens correctly, it encloses graduated sides made to take three shelves, the right hand side of the main body is faded, left hand side in better colour, lower left side of the plinth is broken, two of the front feet are loose, one is present inside the other missing.
