A rare Mintons majolica 'squirrel' vase, modelled by Paul Comolera, impressed mark, model number 2070 and date code for 1877, 28cm high

The vase has been extensively broken and reglued with some losses to the tree bough, both ears of the squirrel, a section of the rim of the vase, the leaves at the top and bottom, the breaks also include across the squirrels left shoulder and the end of its tail, please see photographs on our website.
