An 18th century Mughal Indian bronze and parcel gilt ewer, decorated with bands of scrolling leaves and flowers, remnants of zinc or tinning to the exterior, 26cm high

Provenance: From the estate of a former British Empire Diplomat: thence by family descent.

There is occasional minor dents to the body, wear to the once tinned or zinc decoration on the exterior, the spout is a little wobbly but is attached, the hinge has a later metal pin in it, other slight minor casting imperfections.
