Oil on original canvas, one patched hole near 12 o'clock, another near 5 o'clock, both retouched to good effect, otherwise canvas is slightly saggy with stretcher marks showing, paint looks dirty and would benefit from a clean, slightly ill-fitting in a period gilt gesso frame which now has a number of cracks and small losses.
