A George III 1796 pattern Bright Light Cavalry Officer's sword, The 82cm. single edge curved and blue fullered blade lightly engraved and gilded with the Royal Coat of Arms CHarging Cavalry, floral and foliate motivs, steel scabbard.

No makers marks visible. The blued blade is in fair condition with usual wear on the fullered ridge, several 'nicks' to the blade edge, scabbard has discoloured with minor rust spotting.
