A late Victorian silver mounted glass claret jug by Hukin & Heath, London, 1898, height 19.6cm.

Remnants of glue around the base of the handle, but no obvious damage noticed. Lid doesn't shut flush with the body. Several nicks and scratches to the collar. Small dent to the side of the handle. Glass quite cloudy in appearance, with some interior scratches??. Base quite scratched, in line with use. Hallmarks clear but a little rubbed.
