Lot 588 , A gentlemans 1940s Art Deco 10k gold filled Longines Wittnauer manual wind wrist watch

A gentleman's 1940's Art Deco '10k gold filled' Longines Wittnauer manual wind rectangular wrist watch, with rare two tone checkerboard dial, on later associated leather strap(a.f.), with Wittnauer box.

Condition: Later strap has become detached(broken) from one lug bar. Case diameter ex. crown 25mm. Lug to lug 42mm. Tiny holes appearing on all four lugs. Minor nicks and surface scratches to the case back and sides. Movement signed 'Wittnauer Watch Co Inc'. No insignia on the crown. Glass and dial in good order. Watch ticks when wound and the hands adjust. We cannot guarantee any of the watches to be in working order. Box in generally good order commensurate with age.
