Dickens, Charles - The Personal History of David Copperfield, 1s edition, engraved and printed titles and 39 plates (by H.K. Browne), half title and errata leaf, 19th century gilt ruled and decorated red morocco with panelled spine, gilt edges and turn-ins, 1850

Condition: Spine and lower board with wear and fading, inner hinges weak, plates variable, some with marginal stains, etc. (frontis and pict. title badly as are 2/3 others), text reasonably clean, Smith 9 - flaws almost all uncorrected - save 'screamed' (p.132) is corrected to 'screwed', 1875 inscription on blank at front, XV, 624pp, agrees with Smith.
