Oil on panel in honest untouched condition, under glass but varnish is discoloured and paint dirty, appears to be signed lower left but if so this is dropping under the mount so one cannot be entirely sure, housed in its original highly ornate gilt gesso frame which has fine cracking and damage to one corner, title plaque attached, artist inscription verso along with remnant of James Connell label.
