Estimate £500-700
The lower third of the sculpture has some quite heavy verdigris to the bronze, the tiger underneath the elephants right foot is slightly loose and there is some evidence of some old solder next to the tigers belly, it may be that this solder once originally went all the way around and has fallen out or it could be a later repair, difficult to say, some wear to the feet of the elephant consistent with age, some occasional white paint splatter. The tusks are made of bronze and not ivory, no signs of breaks or repair, in reasonable condition.
Height 56cm Length 68cm - there is no stand
total weight 21kg approx.
