A Chinese pale celadon jade carving of two ducks biting lotus, 19th century the stone of good even tone with a faint russet skin to the tail of one duck, L. 5.3cm

The stone has occasional paler inclusions and a slight russet skin to the back of one of the ducks and also to the lotus leaves, there is possibly a tiny splinter chip to the edge of one of the leaves, although it is worn, so difficult to say for sure.
