We believe the signatures are genuine and that the child like drawings are probably by his daughter, Cecily, (who later became an artist). Shackleton at the time lived in Eastbourne, East Sussex
Titles of books are 'Tales from Pickwick by Dickens, George Routledge & Sons, 1888 and David Copperfield by Dickens, Chapman & Hall, 1888
