Estimate £300-500

Age not know, 20th century?
Box with light surface scuffing and scratching, lock has been forced and key is not present so it doesn't quite shut perfectly, the lock plate needs to be flattened out again, baize in good fresh condition, probably replaced, the Staunton label has been stuck back slightly left of centre and has a little creasing.
Black king - unvarnished finial with one side of the cross broken away and missing
Queen - one point of the crown broken away and missing
Bishops - one has matting and what looks to be sticky glue remnants around the base
Knights - one with red crown stamp in good order, the other has one ear missing
Castles - one with red crown stamp in good order, the other with some wear to the finish
Pawns - six good, one with two large chunks out of the collar, and another with two chips to the collar, two small loose pieces of collar are in the box but this will not fill all the missing areas
Other side:
King - unvarnished finial, top of the king lifts away from the main body but it remains a tight fit, has lost its lead loading and baize pad foot.
All other pieces good other than some overall light fading, a scuff to the side of one bishop.
All pieces are weights except for the one king that has lost its weight.
