A large Indian bidri ware basin and cover, late 18th/early 19th century, decorated with bands of repeating tall stemmed flowers and foliage, the lattice pierced cover with central knop finial, diameter 42.5cm

The pierced cover appears to have a couple of old repairs to the border which are extremely well done, the bowl itself has typical oxidisation to the interior and the foot and patchiness to the patina on the exterior, the silver inlay is fairly bright otherwise in reasonable condition.
