All of the carved ruyi heads to the frieze are present but two are currently detached on one table. Both table are very rickety and require re-gluing at the joints. Both tables have some splits to the top and some natural faults to the legs, including age cracks, the undersides of the tops and rails have been ebonised or lacquered and some of this is flaking off. Both tops are faded and with slight water stains. Otherwise in reasonable condition, the main attention needed is the gluing of the joints
