A George II silver snuffers stand by Thomas Gilpin, engraved with the Heneage family crest, of lozenge shape, with foliate scroll border, on four dolphin feet, London, 1743, 19.4cm, 8.5 oz.

Repair to side and underside of handle. One foot also possibly has a repair (all silver solder). Numerous dings to the top surface. Some minor wear to the decoration on the border. Very tired armorial to the centre. Marks clear.
