Mechanism has almost certainly been restored in the last 20 years, all of the pins appear to be present on the barrel which has been oiled, all of the bells are present and ring nicely, the comb is missing the tip of the smallest tooth otherwise all the other teeth present, the comb has definitely been cleaned with some slight patches of oxidisation, the going barrel has some slight wear to the teeth and the crank handle cog has some indentations and wear to the teeth but still functions fine. The tune sheet appears to be the original with 12 tunes listed, there is a change / repeat lever and stop / start lever, replacement red silk ribbons to open the glass inset panel, the hinged cover is marquetry inlaid and veneered in rosewood, has some slight filler repair in places and is slightly warped, the sides of the case are brush grained in simulation of rosewood with some minor losses to the varnish and the feet are ebonised and have some slight wear to the them, otherwise seems to be in good working order.
