Oil on canvas relined many years ago and canvas is now starting to sag again, looks at some point to have been folded up, several pronounced creases run horizontally through the work, paint is very dirty with some fine but stable craqurelure more notably at the top of the work, no sign of any signature, housed in an old possibly original giltwood frame which is looking equally tatty.
