Very well figured timber, it had cataloguers questioning whether it was walnut, pollard oak or even olive wood, one short split in the case to the left of the 8 o'clock, a similar smaller split near 4 o'clock, base moulding to the right hand side has come loose with the ebonised ripple moulding missing, some marking to the silvering of the dial which all looks original, movement complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with pendulum and case key that operates the front door but is hard to remove from the lock, back door not locked shut, back right foot loose but present.
