A Japanese musen and silver wire cloisonne vase, by Hattori Tadasaburo, c.1900, decorated with egrets on a graduated pale blue ground, the birds' beaks with silver wire inlay, height 19.5cm

Although this vase is unsigned it is identical to other signed pieces we have sold by the maker, both of the rims are brown patinated and there is some wear to this brown patination particularly around the bottom foot, the bottom foot is a little loose also, there are a few minute speckles and imperfections to the enamel in manufacture but there is no apparent damage to the enamel, no restoration chips or cracks.
