An 18ct gold and platinum set oval black opal dress ring, the stone measuring 20.5mm by 17.6mm, size L.

The stone is not a doublet. There is a small chip to the top edge of the opal and there are numerous tiny surface nicks and scratches to the top. The underside of the stone has a couple of visible scratches a small surface chip. Setting in good order. Depth of opal is 5.5mm. Fire is good.
