Three Chinese blue and white dishes, Transitional period c1640, the first of petal lobed form painted with flowering branches and bearing a Chenghua mark, 15.1cm, the second with a bird amid prunus, 14.7cm and the last bamboo in a landscape, 14.5cm

The dish with the Chenghua mark has fritting/ large glaze losses around the rim and typical kiln grit around the foot. The dish with a barbed rim has a heavy spot of cobalt blue at the 9 0'clock position. The third dish has some fritting and glaze losses around the edge and an over glazed firing crack at the 6 o'clock position.
