A Tibetan gilt copper alloy seated figure of Green Tara, 17th / 18th century, with some later jewelling, seated on a double lotus throne, height 16.5cm

There is significant wear to the gilding on the head of the figure and both hands, her left and right legs and around the plinth and particularly on the lotus petal moulding of the throne, most if not all the jewelling is missing to the figures headdress and jewellery, any which are now in there are later glass beads, the finial on the back of the headdress on the figure is bent towards the viewer slightly, the base panel is lacking but general wear and patina consistent with age, please see photographs.
Provenance: from a private collection in the South East via an agent.
