An early 20th century French quarter repeating carriage alarm clock, by Le Roy & Fils, Palais Royale, with corinthian column case and blind fret work panels to the sides and back, movement striking on a gong with silent / sonnerie selector to the underside, height 7in.

Case has the original finish but much of the matted gilding is now rubbed away in the obvious places, glass on the left hand side is broken, other glass good, some slight oxidisation of the silvered fret work which sits on the dial, enamelling of the dial good as is the numerals, fret work to the side and back panels equally with some discolouration, top plate looks original, please note this is a quarter repeating clock not hour, silence / sonnerie selector to the underside, backplate with two blued steel gongs and an enamelled alarm selector dial numbered 7072, movement going but not tested for timekeeping.
