An Edwardian Arts & Crafts planished silver and enamel circular box and cover by Ramsden and Carr, of squat baluster form, with embossed foliate band and lid with stylised open wire work with ball finial and enamelled scene of a galleon at sea, with ropetwist border, (enamel a.f.), London, 1905, height 11.5cm.

Lid- There is a small knock to the interior rim. The enamel is quite damaged. There is some complete loss, visible to the edge and there are numerous hairline cracks and some flaking caused by bruising. Hallmarks clear.
Base- Two small and one larger knock/dent around the girdle area, otherwise in generally good order. Hallmarks clear.
