An early 20th century platinum and single stone diamond ring with ruby set yellow gold border, the central old, round cut stone weighing approximately 1.70-1.80cts and of good colour and clarity, with Carrington & Co box, size K/L.

There is no visible damage to the diamond. Two of the small rubies each have a tiny chip or crack. The table facet edges of the rubies in general are a little worn. Shank and setting in good order.
It is possible that one or two of the rubies may be synthetic.
