Oil on what appears to the be the original canvas, and is very slightly saggy, paint looks dirty, fine craquelure running throughout the work, mostly in a series of horizontal lines running across the canvas, otherwise looks to be in good order, under glass in a hugely ornate giltwood and gesso scroll frame which is very dirty and suffers numerous losses, title plaque giving details of the sitter on the frame, Agnews label verso, this would need shipment by lorry as it is such a heavy item we would expect transport to be fairly expensive.
