Estimate £700-1,000

This mirror looks to have seen some restoration within the past 20 years or so although does retain some faults and signs of old damage, principally the top crest of the mirror effectively 3 inches above the plate looks to have been broken off at some point and later re-attached, old cracks or joins still show where this has been done, further cracking to a section broken at some point to the top left, and other more smaller dents and rubbings to some of the carving, however everything looks to be present, no sign of any missing woodwork, finish is a slightly matted rubbed down gilt appearance, the plate may well not be original but is an old plate and shows some oxidisation marks, particularly near 12 o'clock, back of the plate is papered in.
