Oil on original canvas in honest untouched condition, paint looks fairly clean, no sign of any signature or attribution verso, house in the image looks to date to c.1830 however the picture itself may well be 1850 onwards, style of painting is rather fuzzy, housed in probably the original gilt gesso frame which is now looking rather tatty.
