A George III mahogany eight day longcase clock, the 12 inch arched brass dial with silvered strike silent Roman chapter ring, subsidiary seconds and date aperture, dial numbered 1572, high quality movement with large cock and 7 inch pendulum, in fine quality brass mounted flame mahogany case, H.7ft 10in.

A handsome clock in good clean condition, case is of a good rich reddish mahogany colour with a high state of polish, dial looks to have been cleaned within the past 10 - 20 years or so, now with a very slightly matted finish, key to hood door is present as is key to trunk door, movement in good clean condition, was running when collected. Comes with extra large pendulum and two brass cased weights.
