Oil on original canvas which is bowing outwards and showing some undulation, an unvarnished dull white patch of paint showing above the trees just to the left of the fountain spout which does look like overpaint, no other faults noted, signed A. Brandeis lower right, housed in an old gilt slip frame and probably later gilt outer frame, inscribed with the artists name on the back of the canvas.
