A large Pilkingtons Lancastrian lustre ovoid vase, c.1915, by Richard Joyce, decorated with silver and ruby lustre flowers to blue ground lancet shaped panels above a band of scrolling foliage, applied with a pair of strap handles to the shoulder, impressed marks Royal Lancastrian England and inscribed monogram RJ, height 23.5cm, diameter approx. 27cm

There is fine crazing to the glaze all over, and there is a good lustre to the vase, in good condition with no restoration, chips or cracks.
