A George III Irish silver circular bowl, with engraved armorial, initials and spiral decoration, on three cabriole legs with hoof feet, Ambrose Boxwell, Dublin, 1788, dia. 5in, 6.5 oz.

There is a dent to the top rim and a set of engraved initials close to the hallmarkes. There is an old repair (silver solder)to the interior of the top rim. There is also a dent to the main body where one of the legs has been pushed inwards. From above the bowl is slightly mishapen. Marks clear on base.
